Marlisa Bustos
Sales Account Manager
Marlisa grew up in Indio, CA, and played basketball for over 15 years, beginning in high school and continuing well into adulthood. After graduating, she moved to Orange County, CA, where she launched her construction career with an asphalt company. There, she was one of only two team members in the Public Works Department and quickly grew into the roles of estimator, project manager, and bid coordinator.
During this time, she met her wife, and in 2023, they made the move to Henderson, NV. With the transition, Marlisa decided to explore a new direction, stepping away from asphalt and gaining valuable experience in the drywall industry, learning about metal framing, drywall, and finishes. Missing the outdoor aspect of job site walks, Marlisa was thrilled to join the Affordable Team in 2024 as an estimator in the maintenance division. Her role now allows her to enjoy the fresh air while doing what she loves—helping clients improve their spaces.
Outside of work, Marlisa enjoys spending time with her wife and son, especially when they’re out camping, hiking, or fishing.
